our pysanky collection...
we do these ourselves, and though they are by no means anywhere near as impressive as the proffessional ones, we love them just the same...
this is our entire collection so far, some were done last easter by us and some of our friends, and a few more were added this year...
i didn't like the way the picture turned out, but we had rack of lamb for easter dinner.. this is a big treat for us. something we can't really afford and never would've gotten but for the fact that i was feeling somewhat sentimental about passover and all, and was in the mood for lamb... luckily it was on sale
oh yeah.. and i finally got desert... fresh fruit tart and a mini cupcake... well worth the wait

what does "by no means as impressive as the proffesional ones" mean? as if there are highly trained goverment certified ukrainian easter egg authorities out there who certify the work of athleticly trained ukranian grandmas who can wip out a masterfully painted chicken fetus in competitive speed as well as having creative inginuity to boot.
I will have to claim this docrtine of "professionalism" church heresy and have any carrier of this faith condemned and burned at the stake by the church of england.
Funny, Eddie! But I'd have to agree: the eggs look beautiful!
I am a highly trained, highly paid chicken fetus painter. I was trained by my government to paint eggs and kill people like you that think they are professionals like me. So one Mr Ed Ershbock will be getting a cap in his, you know what soon.
